So! I just wanna see if having these written down somewhere helps with them being enforceable.
1. People! Please don't talk over me. C'mon.
2. Try to not wander off during the actual body of the meeting (worship, talk). If you have, leave the door of the room you're in open, and there should be 1, 3, or more people, but 2 gets tricky, so look out and try to have three instead. For reasons of parents get mad at me if I don't say it, if there are two people in the same room alone, they do needa be the same gender.
3. If you get a word or a prophecy or a whatever, run it by a tohttLe or me before sharing it with the group. Cool? Cool. (TohttLes are myself, Jim, Bethany, Alyssa, Mary, and Spencer, in order of what age I think they are but could be wrong about.)
4. Don't break things or each other, guys. Just don't. Also, try to not make too big of a mess.
And hopefully that covers everything. |

No problem, sir. They are, in fact, guidelines.
Which brings me to rule number five:
Any lip along the lines of "More actual guidelines than rules" will be met with discussion of your least favorite school subject, and trust me, I know enough about all of them to keep a conversation going for a while. |

First, I should amend the list of tohttLes that you can turn to in case of whatever you might need a tohttLe for: Jim has stepped down and Bethany has decided to retain the title with none of the responsibilities, so.
Another note: John approached me this morning about a thing which I am partly to blame for, but evidently, a bunch of things were left on over the weekend and the results are giving him some trouble with the set-up this morning, SO if you're trained by a ministry team leader to use things like the PA or overheads computer and need to use them during youth group (note the use of the word 'need' rather than 'want'), you're free to do so
so long as you put it back how you found it as nearly as you can manage, and turn it off.
Alright? Alright. Also, for those of you who look at posting times, this was posted during the worship team rehearsal, which is a totally legitimate thing to post during. Really. |
